Hutchins Block

The Hutchins Block was located on the Northwest corner of High & Hampden streets. This is a photo taken sometime in the early 1870s.

The Hutchins Block was destroyed by fire twice and rebuilt. It was later razed to make way for the Stiles Block which existed up until the early 1970s.

The building adjacent to the Hutchins is the Crafts Building which still stands and was the home to one of the first movie theaters in Holyoke.
