Gateway To The City

A photo taken in 1920 at the intersection of Main & Dwight streets looking west toward High street. This area not too far from Depot Hill was a very busy and prosperous section of the city. It was here that visitors traveling to the city by train would stay in one of the area's many hotels including the Hamilton (right) and travel by trolley car to the heart of the city.
