This photo was taken from LaFayette Street showing what is now the Stop & Shop parking lot on Lincoln Street. LaFayette Street was eliminated in the 1950s to make way for the new Providence Hospital but this location later became the home of Stop & Shop and J.M.Fields after the Sisters Of Providence decided to build the hospital on Main Street instead.

  Standard Tire Sales at the corner of Division and Railroad Streets. The area is now the parking deck just south of the District Court building and across from Heritage Park.
